The Smuthood started as a passion project in August of 2021. It was created to be a space to talk about spicy romance book without fear or judgement. Fast forward a bit, this group now holds 200K romance readers, and is a place to share romance recommendations, gush about your favorite reads, post funny bookish memes and my favorite -connecting authors and readers.

My favorite books to read are ones that make me cry my freakin' eyeballs out but I also love the ones that make me kick my feet and giggle. I am a introverted millennial who loves to chill at home with her dog and watch the same TV shows over and over again. My support system consists of again, my dog & the random strangers I met on the internet who have now become my absolute best friends. Also, I will steal your book boyfriend with ZERO fuhks to give LOL

Hi! My name is Ofa, I am a mom to the sweetest little boy. I got back into reading in January of 2020 when I came across an ad and immediately subscribed to KU. I will read almost anything, but my absolute favorite tropes are Age Gap, Forbidden, Mafia, Cowboy, & Secret baby/Surprise Pregnancy. Dark Romance is my go to, but I will jump into a lighthearted Small Town Romance or sports romance every now and then. I am a Law & Order SVU & Criminal Minds girly. If I'm not in a reading mood, you'll find me rewatching either of those shows because Captain Olivia Benson & Dr. Spencer Reid are my people. I'm so lucky to be a part of the SmutHood team, I have never met a more supportive group of women in my life. We love to see it!
